Unblocking a contact

Good day, please assist. I have unblocked a contact on my phone but they still can’t call or message me but I can. Please note that I have restarted my phone and deleted their number many times but still they can’t call me.

Contact still blocked after unblocking I blocked my wife (also Emergency contact) to experience what a blocked caller experiences. This was only a few minutes. After unblocking she can no longer call me. I have no third party blocking or call filtering apps, it was a straight block contact, call, and then unblock that caused the issue. I see others have tried making new contacts with previously blocked numbers to no avail. Why is this bug not fixed? I have an iPhone X, my wife has an iPhone 14. She can text me and leave a message, but the call wont come through.

Blocking contact I have unblocked a contact however they can send me iMessages but when they try to call me it still goes straight to voicemail? I’ve tried restarting my phone this hasn’t helped.

Go to -> Settings -> Phone -> scroll to Blocked contacts and tap on it -> tap on that blocked person -> swipe left -> unblocked.
