how do I connect my iPhone to my MacBook Air?? Is there some cord I'm missing? There is no USB

With your usb lighting cable of your usb-c plug it in to the USB port on your Mac 💻 go to Finder and you will your iPhone on the side bar, you must tap on your iPhone screen a message asking for your permission just tap over trust button and the same thing in your Mac
