Continually getting a 4014 error when trying to restore an iPad (7th Gen)

I have tried to restore an iPad unsuccessfully and am getting continually getting the error "iPadOS cannot be restored on this iPad. Unexpected device state "DFU" expected 'Recovery' (Probably forced into DFU mode externally) [com.apple.MobileDevice.MobileRestore - 0xFAE (4014) STOP. This is an iPad 7th Gen.

I tried everything in the link without success. The iPad is still in DFU Mode! Thanks for the article though it will come in handy at some point in time.
