Iphone 8 frozen and wont force restart

I was on my phone when it suddenly froze. I tried turning it off, wont work. I tried force restarting it, wont work. The screen will go dimmer when i 'turn it off'. I think the phone is still working cause it vibrates when i use the wrong finger print but the screen is still on the frozen app. What do i do?

Hello ~ Try this from an excellent prior post of *Axel Foley*

* Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

Press and quickly release Volume UP button
Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).*
