I've tried using iTunes to restore and update my phone yet all I get is error 4013 - Tried on multiple machines and used various cables. Now I bet apple will want $$$$$$ to fix something their update broke!

If the iPhone won’t come out of recovery, and if what Apple lists for 4013 (the article you got here from) fails to resolve this including trying a different cable and different computer and updates (see the article), then the iPhone has probably failed. Which can mean repair or replacement, yes.

This iisnt working - My iPhone 11 is stuck in recovery mode after trying to update it.
