App-specific passwords doesn't work

recently tried to add my Apple email to an Android phone to get emails through Bluemail, but keep getting server failure messages. Help.

Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try?

thanks for trying to help.....sometimes the 5th try is the winner!

I just kept trying to put a new apple generated password, and finally on the 5th try it worked.
