The problem is that they keyboard focus is on the volume control when the miniplayer is first opened, so the titles don't display. Hitting tab twice resets it. Looks like the window is now opening in some sort of accessibility mode by default.

Thank you for the feedback, but it didn't seem to help with the problem.
However, I got the track titles back by expending the MiniPlayer to fullscreen, the track name appeared and remained there after returning MiniPlayer to minimised mode.
Hope this may assist others with the same problem.
