iPad. Space bar on Keyboard

When I hit my space bar on my keyboard in Numbers, the sheet closes. Keyboard settings seem right. Any other thoughts on why this changed at last IOS update?

iPad Air 2, iOS 12

Full Access was on. I turned it off and the space bar problem was fixed! I’m not sure what that means for other actions ?

Did you by any chance activate the "Full Keyboard Access" accessibility option? Some recommend it as a solution for problems with the Magic Keyboard, but it has other problems. The space bar problem can be addressed by resetting the actions triggered by the space bar (also in Accessibility).
