Headphone accommodations disabled by phone calls

In the meantime, I finally found a fix - just switch your phone to silent and then off again (or vice versa). Works every time on 13 Pro Max. Hope this helps you guys.

I've been having the same issue with the same fix, but it happens after taking videos, too. Seems like any system process that stops audio disables accommodations. Oddly enough

I already reported it, but thank you for the reminder. I always think more people could stand to send in feedback.

That being said, I'm trying to find a workaround myself, but can't. I believe it's connected to microphone access, and if I disable that for every problematic process, I won't be left with much of a phone. Happens 100% of the time in Voice Memos, video recordings, and phone calls.

Apple does not tend to point to, outline, or admit to any issues with their devices. Just look at Bendgate and the battery life throttling.

That being said, the bug persists even in 15.3. I'm not convinced they know it exists at all. Hopefully before January ends they'll right the wrong.

I have been calling apple to report this issue since the update and they refuse to acknowledge this problem. The only solution they offered was for me to mail in my phone, so that an engineer can test it. That is ridiculous!

I have had the same issue since the update and apple has had me restore my iPhone, replaced my airpods(twice) and still refuses to acknowledge that it’s an issue with the update.
