Headphone accommodations disabled by phone calls
iOS has an accessibility feature to correct audio output using an audiogram, which measures a person's hearing loss pattern. It greatly enhances the value of AirPods Pro for those with hearing loss.
Settings/Accessibility/AirPods, then select your AirPods type, then choose Audio Accessibility Settings. There you can toggle Headphone Accommodations. On that screen you can choose a generic accommodation, or the use of your own audiogram.
My problem is this: starting with iOS 15.2, the accommodation turns itself off from time to time. I can be listening to a podcast (accommodation is on), the phone rings (which I generally decline) and then the podcast resumes. The audio accommodation has been disabled. <-- the bug.
If I navigate to the settings screen, accommodations are still shown as on, despite being disabled. But, visiting that screen will cause the accommodations to re-enable on toggling off and on. Until iOS 15.2, this trip to settings was never needed.
How to fix?
