So something that’s been annoying the **** out of me recently is the fact that the screen will get slightly dimmer randomly then jump back to where it was originally. Was wondering if 1 other people have had this happen and 2 how do I make it stop. Attention aware doesn’t seem to be the cause nor does True Tone. I keep auto brightness off so it shouldn’t be doing this but please someone tell me how to make it stop before I lose it.

We understand that the brightness on your iPhone is dimming automatically despite having auto brightness off. It sounds like you have also disabled True Tone and Attention Aware to test and the issue has not changed.
Do you find that the display returns to the previous brightness when you interact with it, or is nothing needed you part for this to happen? Does it seem to happen when using a specific app or function?

Sometimes it does when interacting with it but other times it involves no interaction at all. It more commonly happens when the keyboard is up but that does not necessarily need to be on screen for it to happen. As for apps I couldn’t say. It does happen often with discord though

What we’d like to have you do is make sure your iPhone is up to date and then reach out to Apple Support on this matter for continued isolation steps.
