MacBook Pro 14" 2021, Magsafe just charges when off

I am aware of all the issues happening to the 16" but my brand new MacBook 14" (i am serious, i got it yesterday) is not charging at all using Magsafe. And it is the opposite issue of 16"

I am running macOS 12.1 (just updated) but the issue persists. If the MacBook is turned off, it will start charging, but as soon as i log into my account, MagSafe 3 led turns off and it stops charging! USB C charging works good

Hi Ferbe,

We see your new MacBook Pro won't charge on MagSafe, but it will charge via USB-C.

To aid us in isolating this further, take a look over the following article and let us know if any of the battery optimization or power saving features are enabled.

If battery charging is paused or on hold on your Mac

If they are, and the battery is over 80% this can be expected behavior.
