Home Hub Not Responding
New issue to me. Not a new issue to HomeKit is seems ... But, oh my f-god, is this aggravating.
I've tried everything noted in these forums as well as "fixes" described in numerous articles. Nothing.
I've never had an issue until a few days ago when I picked up a new iPhone 13 series.
- All devices are signed in with same credentials.
- Two factor ID, check.
- Shutting down and restarting all devices doesn't fix issue
- Unplugging all devices doesn't fix issue
- Deleting my "Home" from HomeKit and re adding all my devices didn't fix the issue
- Updating OS on all devices didn't fix the issue.
- Signing out of iCloud on Apple TV didn't fix the issue
- Updating my Home Hub on Apple TV didn't fix the issue
- Updating, then going through this entire list three times didn't fix the issue
Every thirty minutes, I get a notification "Home Hub Not Responding", then I get a notification saying the "Home Hub Is Now Responding" ... Around the clock.
Despite the disconnection, ALL my devices still function through HomeKit. I just get the bloody notifications.
The only things I haven't done is
- Nuke Apple TV with a factory reset
- Replace the Apple TV HD with a new 4k version
I've read in at least one place for each that even these two steps don't solve the issue.
Any and all recommendations would be helpful. My sanity would appreciate it.
