M1 processor clocked @ 1.95GHz. Is it normal?

My GeekBench 5 score on the single and multi-core is 1056 and 4288 respectively which is far below the average score for any MacBook Air(Late 2020) with M1 chip and my mac is not even a month old. So I wanted to know whether it is a hardware or software issue and whether it can be fixed.

First two cores on 2021 M1 Max MacBook Pro always reading 100% on idle with no apps running??? Hi there! It seems the first two cores on my top spec M1 Max (64gb ram) 2021 MacBook Pro always read 100%, when idle with no apps running.. Wondering if you can shed some light on the below reading i got from iStat Menus (v6.60). Is this just how the M1 Max chip reads idle? I've used iStat Menus for years on my iMac Pro, and it has historically always read accurrately on my intel based iMac Pro. On the below larger graph, the light blue shows "user" cpu load, and the red shows "system" cpu load. Is there an issue with my CPU or is this just how M1 chips operate under idle? Weirrrrd. I should say, so far the machine seems quick and snappy. However am yet to load any pro video or audio apps on yet, so have not done thorough performance testing. It benchmarked on point with other M1 Max machines on Geekbench 5. Thanks for your help in advance!

MacBook Air (M1 2020) running really slow Hello, for some time now I have been experiencing troubles with the performance of my MacBook Air. WindowServer times shows a humongous amount (105:56:26) and its % usage rises up to 30 points. I have run the EtreCheck app and the report says that the performance is excellent with no major issues detected. I am afraid I cannot properly analyse the results myself so I'd like really appreciate the help of the community.

Contact Apple Directly (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201232) or set up a Genius Bar appointment at the nearest Apple Store or at the nearest Apple Authorized Service Provider and have the Mac evaluated.

Hi,

Apple doesn't say anything about CPU clock, though I read somewhere that Apple M1 is a 3.2 GHz 8-core processor.
