How do I get rid of that little icon of keyboard and icon of microphone in the messaging app on IPad? The pop up picture is right where my blue arrow for send is. I tap on that that area and it asks if I want to enable dictation. I say, not now. Then the image pops up again. I am able to get the message to send but it’s tricky. Please help.

The icon at bottom right of the screen allows you to easily expose the on-screen keyboard for input of special characters that cannot be accessed from the physical keyboard (e.g. emoji).
The icons can be disabled from iPad settings:
Settings > General > Keyboard > [All Keyboards] Shortcuts - set to OFF

On my iPad Pro 12.9 I have found that I can tap and drag that icon with my finger. Have you tried dragging it with your finger to the opposite corner?
