Siri speaking phone numbers

After this last upgrade, Siri is speaking the phone numbers and not the title or name of the contact. Can’t figure out why.

Hello HghCee,

Apple Support Communities is a great place for help with Siri, and reading your contact names. To confirm, have you verified the contacts name appears when receiving an incoming call? If they don’t appear, are they showing in the Contacts app? If the contacts aren’t showing in the Contacts app do you recall if they’re synced to an email or iCloud? If so, make sure Contacts is enabled in Settings > Contacts > Accounts, tap on the account the contacts are associated with, and tap the gray toggle next to Contacts to re-enable that feature. If that feature is already enabled (showing with a green toggle), proceed with restarting your iPhone. You can find the steps for restarting in the following article.

Restart your iPhone

You’ll also want to make sure Announce Calls is enabled in Settings > Siri & Search.

Let us know how that goes!
