I had a ton of music on my iPhone prior to accepting the Apple Music trial. I decided to delete the trial because I didn't like the cloud music library set up. Listening to music in my car with it caused me to use a ton of data. So I deleted my trial and now It seems like I've lost all the music I had on my phone prior? I still see the music I've purchased in recent years but none of my old songs. Is there a way to retrieve this?

If it is music you purchased from the iTunes Store, you should be able to redownload it:
Redownload music - Apple Support
