Thread issues

I have three HomePod Mini devices and am having major stability issues with HomeKit devices that use Thread now. Anyone else experiencing similar issues?

No. This is not correct. The Thread devices are the issue. But the HomePod minis are serving as the Thread Border Gateway. The HomePod minis always respond but the Thread devices fail when I have multiple minis plugged in. As soon as I unplug two of the three minis the Thread based devices start responding.

Thread devices regularly become non responsive. Latest device is Nanoleaf Essentials. When I unplug all but one HomePod Mini the issue never comes back. Have seen this issue with Eve devices as well, leading me to believe the common element is Thread Border Router in the Minis. It’s frustrating enough I’m considering abandoning it all together.

Hi MarknTX,

We understand you're having issues with HomePods. We'd suggest providing more specific details about what the issue is.

Are you unable to make requests through Siri? Are you getting some sort of error message when trying to request something? Are you having problems setting up a HomePod or connecting it to a network? Etc.

Details like these will help give the community a better idea of what you're experiencing so members can provide more relevant responses.

We look forward to your reply. Cheers!
