Shocked by lack of shuffle in Photos

Why is Apple refusing to implement Shuffle in Photos? This has been requested for years. It's shocking that this simple feature has been removed. Give us back that ability to shuffle our photos!

The “Photo Shuffle” option of the new Lock Screen in iOS 16 is not working properly. To be clear, I added the photos manually. And it’s not random as the name suggests, instead it’s always the same sequence. Also, when adding new pictures, the existing pictures’ composition will be reverted to default for some reason, which infuriates me because I have so many photos and I have to reposition them ALL after I add ONE new photo to it. The new lockscreen is super cool and I liked it, but it’s not at its finest state yet. I wish this will be fixed in the next update.
