I forgot the backup password for iPhone in iTunes.
I want to create a new backup and fresh password.
Therefore I want to remove the current backup and the
password.
How I remove the "Encrypt local backup" password?
Environment iPhone 8 (IOS 15.2), Windows 10, & iTunes 12.12.2.2
Any suggestions will be welcomed.

How I remove the "Encrypt local backup" password?
I followed the instructions to remove the "Encrypt local backup" from the paragraph
"If you can’t remember the password for your encrypted backup" in the entry
"About encrypted backups on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch"
It did not work the box is still dimmed.
Somewhere I read that the instructions are wrong, instead of:
It actually should read:
Is that true or could this mess up the iPhone?
Environment iPhone 8 (IOS 15.2), Windows 10, & iTunes 12.12.2.2
Reset All Settings will change all settings in the Settings app to their defaults, and will reset the home screen layout to the default locations to the built in apps, and arrange 3rd party apps in alphabetical order. It won’t result in any data loss.
