Background App Refresh not working with WhatsApp and Instagram, other apps seems fine for now

Hi. Several weeks ago I started to encounter a problem on my iPhone X: WhatsApp and Instagram started to now refresh while on background. This means I don't receive the notifications until I open the app. Also, whenever I close the app my desktop web client stops working (meaning it terminates any connectivity while on the background).

I am on iOS 15.2 and it didn't solve my problem. One thing I am trying to correlate is my phone battery capacity: it is on 81% and the device is still operating normally.

Do you have a different Apple device that are using the same WhatsApp and Instagram accounts?

Thanks for the response. Yes, the app is updated and the notification settings is correct.
