Control Center Apple TV Remote Not Working

With iOS 15 the Apple TV remote in control center does not work. If the screen closes while using it, you’ll have to wait 10 min for it to connect again or restart your phone. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today with the Apple TV Remote in Control Center. We understand it doesn't always stay connected.

Are there any updates for your iPhone or Apple TV available?

Is the Apple TV connected to Ethernet? If it is, try connecting to the same Wi-Fi your iPhone is using.

If it is connected to Wi-FI, unplug it briefly. We'd also recommend restarting your router.

Let us know if the issue continues.
