Is it possible to connect an Apple 27 inch cinema display to a MacBook Pro?

Is it possible to connect an Apple 27 inch led cinema disolay zml from 2012 to a macbook pro 16 inch M1 chip?

If this is your display:

a convenient single cable with three connectors (Mini DisplayPort, MagSafe, and USB 2.0)

you need a third-party adapter from USB-C computer-end to Mini DisplayPort jack for your display cable to plug in.


Apple does not provide an Apple brand adapter because essentially, "they have nothing special to add to make it magical".


Remember, you can not 'stack' adapters. you must make the transition from computer output to display input in at most ONE adapter.
