Photo transfers to I Pad 8 Generation no ports to plug adapters

Can any one out there help ? Only port I have is power input. Do I use that port to connect adapters?

Yes, that's the only port on your iPad 8th gen. What adapter(s) are you talking about?

Adapters for transferring photos from SD memory cards. I know I need an adapter to transfer photos to I Pad. I guess the question I’m asking is where do I Plug adapter to I Pad 8 generation with only 1 port which only power port. Do I connect adapter to power port ?
