Apple mail

How do I go to the top of an email inbox? Using Mail 15.0. Clicking on the top of list as in my previous version does'nt work in this new version.

iMac 24″, macOS 12.0

Yet when Mail starts up, or even if I go back to it after using a different app, the email at the very top is always highlighted. I then have to scroll down through all my emails to get to the newest ones at the bottom. Is there any way to configure Mail to start up at the newest email which in my case is on the bottom?

If you have a keyboard with the keypad you can use the Home button to jump to the top of the mailbox.

I don't know what the key combination would be with the minimal keyboard.
