The operation can’t be completed because the original item for “[remote disc drive]” can’t be found

I swapped an new Mac Mini (M1) for a old one. I migrated files from the old mini to the new mini using a current Time Machine backup and the Migration tool. Everything works well except that one of the data drives connected to the mini now report that "The operation can’t be completed because the original item for “[remote disc drive]” can’t be found" when trying to access it from another computer on the network. Access is available for the other drives and the target drive is available when I log onto the mini. All of the permissions look ok. The OS on the mini and the networked iMacs is Big Sur (11.6.2)
