What is "Secure Mode?"

Hi Barney, "Secure Mode" is also called "Safe Mode". Its a special mode during booting of the system.

Never heard it called "Secure Mode." There is nothing secure about it. "Secure" cannot be found in the Safe Mode article.

It doesn't check your internet. It reports on what you have installed which we may be able to link to your problem.

It does not require payment. You can choose to purchase the "power user package," but that is not required for this type of usage. You have to dig pretty deep on that website to find anywhere it discusses the "in-app purchases," but the first entry in the easy-to-find FAQ makes it absolutely clear that the app is free.

My problem has to be solved by Apple and with help from the trusted community.

If it works in Safe Mode, then the problem must be some third party driver. Do you have a VPN or something like that installed?

What is your Wifi Router? Some cable companies limit things so that you can't attach too many connections or folks can't steal your wifi.
