How did you transfer the data from your old phone to new phone? While you can save app data if you did a backup on the Mac, the apps need to complete their download from the App Store. You need to keep your iPhone connected to wi-fi and to power. Once you have done that, force restart the iPhone and it should get the apps to start downloading again. No worries I sorted it out!
Don't follow the steps putting old & new next to each other especially when old did not have the latest IOS took hours and result
not good.
I used the backup on my iMac I made before starting this and all good
I thought I did al that, wifi on and new phone connected to iMac by cable.
Anyway you live & learn!!
