So, Three Things to Do:

A. Deauthorize All Option:

B. Modify your Credentials:

Having so much suspicion, consider modifying your credentials, ASAP, starting with a new password.

• Modify: your login credentials (using both a New eMail and a New Password) for Apple and each and all sites
• Associate: a different method of payment to your account
• Enable: Two-Factor Authentication for Apple ID PayPal and for all other accounts that have such an applicable option

C. Verify the Devices:

Verify that the devices assigned to your iCloud are your devices: Check your Apple ID Device List to See where you're Signed in - Apple Support

A1. No. But I makes if inactive from you account data. So, removing it from your account will no longer make it used by your account. If someone were to log into it unsuccessfully too many times, they would be locked out for good. That is a theft deterrent.

A2. Yes. It does matter, because no one will have access to your account.

"11ragdolls I asked about Question1 because I read somewhere in the forum that removing the XR from my account would mean cancelling: the FMI I activated in the first place. Therefore, making it easier for the perpetrator to factory reset the stolen phone or at the least, accessing the data inside. Thank you for your help."

Correct: FindMy would be deactivated on your device, and no longer apply to your account.
