Audio message on iMessage not playing

Hello, I have received a single audio message that will not play. I received ones both before and after; those played just fine . There is a weird symbol above the audio and the audio reads “00:00”. Before I updated the iOS, that same symbol was in the audio box instead of the sound waves but I forgot to get a photo. Can someone help me play this file and tell me what’s going on?

A few things to note:

1. The missing audio is suppose to be 6 minutes long
2. The audio has never been played.
3. I have updated my iOS to the newest one .
4. I restarted the phone
5. 50GB of 64GB is being used (14 GB of free space)
