Disappointment with Apple Customer Service

I had this message: A problem was detected with the TrueDepth Camera. Face ID has been disabled.

The problem happened by itself. My phone is in excellent shape, not a scratch. Apple customer service said that they have no solution except replacing the phone (very disappointed !!). Sent them a feedback never responded.

any recommendations how to handle this situation, besides replacing the phone???? I have 6 iPhones in my house and if I have to replace one, I am replacing all with Samsung. Is Samsung customer service any better than Apple?

thanks.
