Apple TV controller not working on Disney +

Hi,

frustratingly the Apple TV controller (both the device itself and the iPhone version) doesn’t scroll around when browsing the languages or subtitles options available.

Basically when I’m watching a film on Disney + and I stroke down with the Apple TV controller to drop the languages/subtitles menu, all available languages appear, but it impossible to browse around and select the one of your choice. The controller simply doesn’t move at all.

its frustrating. And by the way, one day, out of the blue it switched from English to Italian with no input! And the only way to switch back to English had been to restart Apple TV.

any help?

A few users have had the situation that automatic updates didn’t work for them for some reason, so do verify your current version number, and update manually if needed. You can update manually, even if set to automatic. If you’re already on the latest version, then the result message will say so, and you’re done in seconds.

Try this for any misbehaving app:

Force-quit the app, then relaunch and try again.
If the issue persists, force-quit the app, restart the device, then relaunch and try again.
If the issue still persists, delete the app, re-download and try again.
If the issue still persists, then contact the app developer for further assistance.
