Logic mother board Failed! Apple MacBook Air 2019

Hi everyone anyone had issues with their logic board for the MacBook Air Retina 13in 2018 model? My MacBook will have repeated unexpected panic CPU reboots . Apple store says it’s the logic board. They want to charge $600 USD to replace it but upon reading articles online there is a recall for this exact issue! However, not in the specific lot they already recognise there is a fabric fault. Sounds familiar?

Hi ku4hx,

Thanks you for your reply, actually the point that Apple only recognise certain “lots” as fabric-defective, MacBooks whereas the rest of lots get systematically disregard as eligible for the exact same problem seems like an illicit technic to “cut the loses” on low quality constructed computers.

I meant, what is their criteria they use ? Through which process does Apple decide or not to refuse their due diligences regarding defective macs?

I do not see any transparency in the way Apple makes this choices, not accountability in the process with face full clients.

I mean, shouldn’t MacBooks last 7 or 8 years instead of 3?

How many out there are in the same situation ?

Regards
