Deleted Thread

I accidently deleted a thread between my spouse and I. IMs are not saved in my iCloud account.

The back up on my laptop appears to only have photos and videos from my camera backed up, not from my IMs. We don't have Mac.

He still has the thread on his phone with many pics and videos and precious memories we have shared. Is there anyway we can recover the thread from his phone and transfer to my phone? Or to make a copy of the entire thread so that I can view on my HP laptop? It would take forever to re-send everything one by one.
