Apple Pay try another card error

I finally got the gas pumps to sense my phone, now when I try it it says try another card or method. I’m trying to pay with my Apple Card in Apple Pay. I tried signing out and back in, removing my case, and restarting my phone. I don’t have a Mac or Apple Watch and my other phone is signed out of icloud. I have verified my billing address on the card. I’m on iPhone 12 with the latest update.

This card cannot be used ! Set up apple pay on my iphone 7, verified my card, and there it is in my wallet. Go to the shop and use it once. Next time I try to use it I am informed "This card cannot be used" Remove the card from apple pay, replace the exact same card, and next time I go out it works. However the second time I try to use it I get the same error, "This card cannot be used" Bit like a vicious circle, or if you prefer it is totally useless as it is ! Any ideas ? Please !!!

Could not set up Apple Pay on iPhone. Hello. I'm trying to add a new card on my iPhone 7, but I receive an error from the phone. I already have six cards. I've tried to delete a few ones, but it still doesn't help, even with the latest iOS. I tried to contact the bank, and they said that it's on the phone side error. Funny, but I've added a new card on my Apple Watch but can't add on my phone.

Apple Pay Set Up Problem Hi, I've had to restore my iPhone XS Max for another issue. I know have a problem with the card not being verified with the bank. I told my bank it wasn't working and they referred me to apple. I rang them and they gave me some steps to do. This didn't work either. They are now closed so was wondering if anyone had some tips? I've removed the card and added it again. I didn't really want to go through resetting my phone again. Thank you.
