Copy iTunes music file to external MP3 players (iPod/ SanDisk and Walkman)

I am now unable to transfer my music file from my iMac Music program to any outside device. I was able to do this when using iTunes previously. The iTunes program has procedures for "Burning to Disk" but not an easy to use Transfer to Device procedure. What's going on?

It seems Music may block direct export to a removable drive. You could try drag & drop to desktop (not ideal if synced to iCloud) or some other local folder, then move those files to the drive. See also https://dougscripts.com/apps/m3unifyapp.php.
