My Apple Watch SE Adaptive Touch Randomly Selecting Everything

My Apple Watch SE keeps randomly clicking whenever I open a screen. I have tried resetting the watch, using it off my wrist with nothing touching it, and with adaptive touch enabled, it keeps clicking. I can’t navigate with it constantly clicking to bring me back to the top of a screen. This is only a problem when adaptive touch is enabled and is the second watch to do this. Has anybody else had this problem and if so, what is the fix? I want to be able to use adaptive touch but it is definitely glitching.

Hello KKNoll1985,

Thanks for participating in Apple Support Communities. We understand that when you have AssistiveTouch turned on for your Apple Watch the screen behaves as if it is being touched. Do you use a case or screen protector on your watch? If so, remove those to see if that helps.

If not, be sure both your Apple Watch and paired iPhone are fully updated. If updates are needed, back up first:

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

How to manually update apps on your Apple device

Update your Apple Watch

If that doesn't help or you're already updated, unpair your watch and set it up again:

Unpair and erase your Apple Watch

Set up your Apple Watch

Let us know how it goes.

Take care.
