Timer problem with 15.1 update

Since installing 15.1 the timer stops working when the screen lock kicks in. Any suggestions on how to fix please? I can turn off or extend the screen lock time to fix but that isn't a desirable solution.

(I have not installed any other app timers or third party timer sounds)
