Cancelling apple care when you bought your phone through trade in plan

Hi, I bought my IPhone 13 through a trade in/monthly plan and added a standard apple care until my case comes as I was told by a worker at the store that I can cancel whenever I want to through the subscriptions section in the settings however it’s not on there not sure if this is because it was purchased in store not on the app. Anyways, once my case is here, how do I go about cancelling it when it’s not possible through the subscriptions?

iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 15

Hi - you can find the article How To here:

I've successfully cancelled before via a phone call, and they give you refund choices.

I haven't tried, but you can advise them of a Care plan you purchased so they can assign it to the device for you, or you can aso transfer an exsiting one to a new device.
