Can I set my left beats AirPod to pause music and the right airpod to skip music?

Can I set my left beats AirPod to pause music and the right airpod to skip music? If so, how can I do that, when I go to settings then Bluetooth and press the icon next to my AirPods name I am only allowed to edit my AirPods name or change if I want it noise cancellation or not.
