I updated to OS Monterrey but see my 2015 MacBook Pro is not compatible.

My computer is in a restart loop and won’t advance from there. How do I cancel Monterrey update and return to latest OS that will run?

MacBook Pro 2011 update problem. My 2011 MacBook Pro running newest possible OS version for it, OS10.13.6, says there's a system update I should do but when I do it I get caught in an annoying shutting down and restarting loop. I know my machine is old (I've certainly got my money's worth) and accept it can't handle some new stuff but surely I could just be told this instead of having to get trapped into wasting so much time.

MacBook Pro update - I can’t update my laptop because I can’t choose a start-up disc when I try to cancel this it just restart and updates for another half an hour then won’t let me actually upload the update it says select the system you want to use to start up your computer and nothing comes up

Monterrey update error - vicious cycle inrecently went to download the new iOS for my MacBook Pro. it takes 29 mins to attempt to download and then it says error, update has failed to download. it gives me two options - one to use a startup disk and the other to restart. when I click option one - nothing shows up apart from the option to use a target disk space. This requires me to use another computer I think, not sure what it’s trying to achieve. the option to restart leads me back to square one where it tries and fails to download the update. i now can’t access my Mac. How do I just go back and cancel this iOS update attempt?

Make Time Machine Backup is very useful and can be used to Revert to Previous Working macOS
