Delete custom field from all contacts

Hello!

I used an app called Sunshine that applied a custom field named "☀️ View on Sunshine ☀️" to many contacts in my address book. Below is a screenshot of a sample contact with the field filled in. I would like to delete this field and any data filled in for it from all of my contacts. Can someone help, likely with an AppleScript?

Thank you!

Tricky. It looks like Sunshine Contacts (an iOS app I believe) has added a custom field to the vCard element of your contacts.

Unfortunately, the vcard property in Contacts' AppleScript terminology is read-only (r/o):

That means that AppleScript can read it, but can't delete or modify it.

Sorry, but unless anyone else knows different, I fear manual deletion is the only solution.
