Unable to open shared note

my friend shared a Note to me and another friend. Our other friend was able to access without any problem. I, on the other hand gets a message that says the note is private and asks me to select my phone number to get a verification link. When I click the link it says verification failed. I am able to share a note with my friends but unable to access theirs

Shared Notes I am trying to share a note with another person. When they open the message to join the notes it ask to verify the account or something to that effect. However, the phone number it shows is not the correct phone number of the recipient. How can I fix this issue?

Can't open shared notes on iPhone Cannot use shared notes. It asks for Apple ID phone number to send verification, I check off my Apple ID pHone number and then i get a text asking to add this phone number to my Apple ID (which is already there, my only number) and sign in to verify link at https://icloud.com/v/ and then i get a "Couldn't verify try again later! Viewing shared note with iMessage question My manager shared a note on iMessage with me. So I click it says verify this number so I do, then I get this text saying to add phone number to my Apple ID with a link to iCloud. And yes it was my managers number and yes it’s actually the Notes app being shared. I clicked the text link eventually and it opens the shared note. With a email from Apple saying changes have been made to phone numbers. Of course when I log into iCloud.com no changes have been made. I do have 2 step verification on. Could this just be some programs interfering with each other cause the only thing that was added was a group note. I unfortunately can’t verify with someone else at the moment if this is the normal process for sharing a note on iOS 14.2 at the moment so I’m asking here if it’s normal.

Where were the Notes? See the pic below. You will get your answer

The recently deleted folder will exist only if you deleted Notes from iCloud or from the "On My Phone" Folder. Deletion from other Folders does not use Recently Deleted Sub-Folder.

The shared note is saved under “iCloud”
