Safari Reader (missing layout options)

Hello,

I'm currently having issues with my Reader functionality on Safari after I updated to the latest macOS 12.0.1 (Monterey).

In the past, when I "click-hold" on the reader Icon (see below) in reader mode, it would give me the option to change the font, change the reader background color and adjust the font size.

However this option is no longer available, and I tried to change the reader setting, it simply just toggle between the reader mode and normal mode.

How can I fix this issue?

Thank you in advance

Hello shahWidjaja,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with using the Reader in Safari since the update to your macOS. The options are there, they have just moved. To get the options to change the font, font size, and background color, check out the steps listed here: Hide ads when reading articles in Safari on Mac

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
