Why did my Apple Music stop when I have a subscription?
iPhone 11
Hello denita164,
Apple Support Communities is a wonderful place for help, and we’re glad you were directed here from the Change your subscription from Apple article. We see you have an Individual subscription to Apple One, but having issues with Apple Music. To guide us through troubleshooting, may we have a description of the issue you’re facing with Apple Music?
For example, are you having issues playing songs in Apple Music on your iPhone? If so, restart your device and confirm you’re running the latest iOS version. These steps can help with reaching a resolution.
Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you’re having a different issue, please let us know.
We look forward to your response!
We appreciate that additional information bailier.
Being able to view your playlists is important. To confirm, if you tap on Library > Playlists, your playlists aren’t showing there? If so, do you still see music in the Library, and are you able to play music in the Apple Music catalog? If so, did you create the playlists on the iPhone, or from a different device? If the music was created on a different device, make sure that Sync Library is enabled in Settings > Music. More information about Sync Library can be found in the following article.
Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music
You may also find restarting your device and updating iOS helpful in reaching a resolution. The articles previously linked which are included below walk through those steps.
Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Let us know how that goes!
Thank you for the update denita164.
We’re glad you’ve verified that Sync Library is enabled, and have restarted the iPhone. To confirm, are you able to access music in the Apple Music catalog, and add songs to your library? If so, that would indicate that Apple Music is working on your iPhone. Since the playlists aren’t appearing, it would be recommended to recreate them. You can find the steps for recreating playlists in the following article.
If you need additional assistance you can also contact Apple. You can find their contact details via the Get Support website.
Take care!
I don’t think I should have to recreate them when they shouldn’t been canceled in the first place. All I did was switch to the Apple one plan and now I have to recreate my list. To much. I’ll just cancel. Thanks for the help
I can’t see any playlist I created
sync was on and I restarted my phone and still no playlists I’ve created.
