airpods connect to iphone but not macbook

AirpodsPro show up in the Bluetoth devices, but do not connect. They work fine with the iPhone. I have done all the steps of updating the MAcOS, and reseting the Airpods. I am able to connect them through the iPhone, but MacBook does not pick it up during the connection.

MacBook Pro (2020 and later)
