Remove the word 'portrait' from photos in iCloud

Hello: Please can anyone tell me how to remove the word 'portrait' from photos I want to download from iCloud?

Please DO NOT say The word Portrait is located in a black border above the photo and is not part of the photo you have taken. It is definitively not located in the black border.

I want to use the photo to make holiday cards and every single photo has the word portrait still on it when I download it. This is infuriating.

Okay firgured out the answer myself. When you're in icloud you have to open the photo to larger view then hit download to your local machine. Then it wont show the word 'portrait'.

The mistake I was making was right clikcing to save the image in the summary thumbnail view in icloud. This will literally save the thumbnail image which has the 'portrait' written over the image to indicate portraits.
