My iPhone Glowed when I turned it on while I have my oculus on.
I investigated it and it had a red light that activated when I turned it on. I used an android phone to check this bc my main iPhone couldn’t see the infrared light. My iPhone doesn’t have Face ID; how do I disable this?

You don't disable it. that's the proximity sensor. It will turn off the screen when you're holding the phone to your ear to save power and prevent you from unintentionally touching buttons with your face.
