when i open pages it no longer brings up my documents

when i open pages my documents no longer come up. Is this due to the latest update to iOS?

What is wrong with reading iCloud documents in iOS 13.2.3? I just realised that I could not view any document in my iCloud on my iPhone 8. The thumbnails are fine, but when I click on them I just get the title, the size and type of document. What is going on, please.

cant open Pages documents on iphone For the past few days I have not been able to open Pages or Numbers documents on my iPhone. What can cause this and how do I fix it? It worked previously.

When you launch Pages, it will open the Template chooser. If all you want do is open a file, then select File menu > Open… and choose your existing document from the File chooser.
