Locations services not working

When I updated my phone to 15 (or maybe 15.1) my location services no longer work. They are on but my calendar says they are off. I then updated to 15.2 thinking it was a glitch that was addressed in newer version. Nope. I’ve rebooted phone both with services on and with them off. Doesn’t help. HELP!

To check to see if location services are on, go to Settings>Privacy>Location Services. Turn it on there. There are also other settings there for what you wish to use location services for.

Regarding your comment about calendar and location services, what are you trying to do in calendar that is calling for location services?

What did the alert provide you with? Do you have Calendar turned on in Locations? Understand that the event you enter into Calendar must be a timed event, it cannot be an all day event. There has to be a specific address location entered into the event as well to be able to calculate travel time. Can you provide a screenshot of this error message you received? Do you have internet connection when creating this event?

Okay, I think I found it. Took a while of Googling. Go back to Settings>Privacy>Location Services, scroll down to System Services. There is a setting there called Location-Based Alerts. In your case, I'm guessing that it is turned off. Turn it on and try again. I just tested it on my device and after turning that switch off, I get the line through Time to Leave. I believe this will solve your issue.
